What has Recovery Given You: For me it’s learning that I am not broken or defective. The mental health journey is all about best managing my symptoms and my best looks different each day. It’s about feeling my feelings as they arise and not avoiding them or trying to change them. In a sense, I guess, recovery has given me balance and a more mindful perspective towards life.
Fun Fact About Me: I flip clothes as a side hustle. I’m also a full time student at the University of Denver, getting a Masters Degree in Social Work. #norestforthewicked
