Our Programs

We provide recovery-oriented programming. Centered around our four pillars: home, health, community, and purpose.

Health

To help you improve your health and wellness – mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Home

To help you establish a home – both the feeling of belonging and the physical space in which you live.

Community

To help you find and feel a part of a community.

Purpose

To help you find and engage in your purpose.

These programs are designed by staff to help support our pillars of Health, Home, Community, and Purpose.

Healthy Cooking

During this hands-on experience learn to make healthy meals with peers. We partner with JoAnne, a professor from Ohio State University to provide this class. Afterward enjoy what you helped make and take home the recipe for next time.

Financial Opportunity Center

We are grateful to be partnering with Habitat for Humanity’s Financial Opportunity Center. FOC offers help with job searching, motivation, resume building, and budgeting. Their goal is to help you achieve your goal, whatever that looks like for you.

Cook & Carry

Join us at The Recovery Center every Tuesday at noon for a community meal or “cook & carry”. Our staff work hard to provide a good meal that you can enjoy with peers or take home with you.

Mindful Art

Turn off that “autopilot” mode from an under stimulating day. Learn to express yourself through art. Mindful art encourages creation while being in tune with both your body and emotions.

Support Groups

These groups are all led by peers with the intention of creating ongoing support.

Collegiate Recovery

A recovery oriented meeting for college students interested in improving their wellbeing. Facilitated by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS) Certified Peer Support Specialists. We host Collegiate Recovery at Owen’s Community College monthly on the last Wednesday.

FACTOR

A recovery support group for anyone affected in recovery and their families. We hold FACTOR every Thursday evening at The Recovery Center. You can find gratitude and support at the root of each meeting.

Survivors Talking About Recovery (STAR)

Survivors/family members of a substance use disorder host STAR. Which is for anyone with drug related offenses. This program could suspend part of a fine, end a license suspension, or suspend jail time. Call 419-424-7451 if interested or if you have questions.
